This Privacy Policy describes how WelzijnPlus B.V. (“we”, “us”) processes your personal data when you use our website or services in the Netherlands. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch implementation law (Uitvoeringswet Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming, UAVG). We are the data controller for the processing described below.

We collect: name, email address, and message content when you use the contact form; optional phone number if you provide it; delivery address when you place an order; order and payment information (processed by our secure payment provider); technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited (via cookies and similar technologies).

We use your information to: process and fulfil orders; respond to your enquiries; send order confirmations and delivery updates; comply with legal and tax obligations; improve our website and services (including anonymised analytics); and, only with your consent, send marketing communications.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Contract performance – to process and deliver your order and provide the services you requested. Legal obligation – to keep tax and accounting records as required by Dutch law. Legitimate interest – to improve our services and prevent fraud. Consent – for marketing emails and non-essential cookies; you may withdraw consent at any time.
4. Sharing and Disclosure of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with: shipping partners (e.g. PostNL) to deliver orders; payment processors (PCI-DSS compliant) to process payments; IT and hosting providers under data processing agreements; and public authorities when required by law.

7. International Transfer of Data
Your data is primarily processed within the European Economic Area (EEA). Where we transfer data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
8. Data Retention
Order and accounting data is retained for 7 years as required by Dutch law. Contact form submissions are retained as long as needed to handle your request and for a limited period thereafter. Marketing data is deleted when you withdraw consent. You may request earlier deletion where we have no legal obligation to retain the data.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Third-Party Services
Google Ads conversion tracking – we may use Google Ads to measure conversions; Google may set cookies and use data according to its own policy. Remarketing – we may use remarketing tools to show relevant ads to visitors who have been on our site. Google Analytics – we may use Google Analytics (with IP anonymisation where possible) to understand how visitors use our site. 13. Opting out of marketing
If you have agreed to receive marketing communications, you can opt out at any time by contacting us (see Contact Information below). We will stop sending marketing messages without delay. Opting out does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
